Job Description

Field Account Specialist (Chemical Services)

Artesia, New Mexico Rate:
$30 Overview We are seeking a Field Account Specialist to support day-to-day operations for specialty chemical service programs. This role involves fieldwork, laboratory testing, and customer support to ensure optimal performance of chemical treatment applications. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Perform field sampling, testing, and reporting for chemical treatment programs Collect and analyze oil and water samples using basic laboratory methods Monitor, maintain, and adjust chemical injection systems Support installation and development of chemical application systems Track chemical usage and maintain inventory levels Coordinate and assist with chemical deliveries Document and communicate test results and system performance Partner with sales and engineering teams to support operations and data collection Identify and support projects to enhance chemical program effectiveness Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in refining operations or a similar industrial environment Basic understanding of industrial chemical treatment processes Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience with laboratory testing and data interpretation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends Ability to participate in random drug testing programs Preferred Qualifications Experience in refinery operations Experience working in a laboratory environment Background in process chemicals or water treatment With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
