A Chemical Technician works with specialized equipment in research labs and chemical processing facilities, under the direction of scientists, chemists and engineers. Prepares chemical solutions, analyzes compounds, tests products, monitors chemical processing, monitors product quality and packaging in production facilities.

Summary:
This position supports the processing, refurbishment, testing, and packaging of high-purity chemical vessels used in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing applications. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and process returned chemical containers and vessels. Perform manual and automated vessel decontamination and cleaning. Conduct acid washing of stainless steel and quartz vessels. Fill vessels with ultra-pure chemicals according to manufacturing procedures. Safely handle chemicals including acids, acetone, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Consolidate and properly dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with company and environmental regulations. Assemble and rebuild vessels using engineering drawings, work instructions, and hand tools. Inspect completed vessels, components, and documentation for quality and accuracy. Perform data entry and maintain accurate production records using SAP and other manufacturing systems. Assist with unloading inbound shipments and receiving materials. Support Engineering with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and process issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment while following all PPE and safety requirements. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or industrial production. Experience handling hazardous chemicals.
Experience working with:
Acids Acetone Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA SAP experience Experience using LIMS systems. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS), work instructions, and engineering drawings. Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical assembly. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to wear a full-face air-purifying respirator and required PPE. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Basic computer skills. Sirius Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
