Virtual interviews are conducted Monday-Thursday only Position Overview BEPC is seeking an experienced Gas & Chemical Logistics Technician (Megasys Technician) to support gas and chemical operations at a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Santa Clara, CA. This position combines gas and chemical equipment support with logistics and inventory responsibilities . The ideal candidate will have strong experience documenting shipments, managing inventory, handling chemical and gas materials, and supporting gas or chemical applications within wafer fabrication/semiconductor environments . Candidates must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response procedures . Key Responsibilities Document and track incoming and outgoing shipments accurately. Manage inventory of gas, chemical, and related materials. Receive, offload, store, and deliver chemical and gas materials throughout the facility. Perform chemical and gas movement using appropriate material-handling equipment. Support gas and chemical operations across multiple buildings in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. Provide technical support for more than 2,000 pieces of gas, chemical, slurry, and distribution equipment from various manufacturers. Perform cylinder and chemical drum changes on gas and chemical systems. Support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of gas and chemical delivery systems. Work with equipment including EMD Electronics Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, and Air Liquide gas and chemical systems . Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and provide effective problem resolution. Write, edit, review, and execute operating and maintenance procedures. Perform preventative maintenance and support sustaining operations. Participate in project activities involving gas and chemical equipment. Follow established safety processes, quality-management procedures, and emergency-response protocols. Maintain strict compliance with site operating, maintenance, safety, and quality requirements. Support a zero safety and quality incident culture . Participate in comprehensive on-the-job training, technical training, and qualification programs. Use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as required. Operate a forklift when qualified and authorized. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with gas and/or chemical applications , preferably within semiconductor or wafer fabrication operations. Comprehensive understanding of gas or chemical systems and associated safety requirements. Knowledge of emergency response procedures involving gas and chemical operations. Experience with inventory management, shipment documentation, and material tracking. Ability to perform gas cylinder and chemical drum changes safely. Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, or repairing gas and chemical delivery equipment. Ability to safely lift and move materials as required. Strong attention to safety, quality, documentation, and procedural compliance. Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated, fast-paced technical environment. Preferred Qualifications Barcode/scanning experience is a plus. Forklift experience; forklift certification preferred . Pallet jack experience. Previous semiconductor, cleanroom, wafer fabrication, or high-purity gas/chemical experience. Experience with Megasys, EMD Electronics, Applied Energy Systems, Fuji, or Air Liquide equipment. Previous logistics, shipping/receiving, or chemical inventory-management experience.
