Senior Level:
$32+/hr (based on experience) Final compensation will be determined by the Hiring Manager.Shift:
Initial training shift Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM (first 2-3 months). Upon completion of training, technicians will transition to a compressed shift schedule (A/B/C/D shifts) working either 7:00 AM
- 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM
- 7:30 AM.

We are seeking motivated Gas & Chemical Technicians to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in Sunnyvale and Santa Clara, CA. This hands-on technical role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting gas, chemical, and slurry distribution systems that supply critical materials to semiconductor fabrication facilities. Technicians play a key role in ensuring safe, uninterrupted operations across multiple facilities while supporting over 2,000 pieces of gas and chemical distribution equipment. This position offers comprehensive training, career advancement opportunities, and a structured technician development program. Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain gas, chemical, and slurry distribution systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Perform gas cylinder, chemical drum, and slurry container change-outs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair gas and chemical delivery equipment.
- Execute preventative maintenance activities and support equipment reliability initiatives.
- Support installation, commissioning, decommissioning, and upgrades of gas and chemical systems.
- Follow and support operating procedures, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance and respond to system alarms and operational issues.
- Utilize computer systems to support operations, documentation, and customer requirements.
- Participate in quality management programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support emergency response activities and maintain readiness for site-specific requirements.
- Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and quality standards. Equipment Supported

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work safely in a technical industrial environment
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work a compressed shift schedule after training Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Equipment Technician, Production Technician, or similar technical role
- Experience with gas or chemical distribution equipment
- Semiconductor industry experience
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Mechanical, electrical, chemical, refinery, power generation, wastewater, automotive, manufacturing, or biotech experience
- Military technical training and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead
- Ability to climb ladders while utilizing fall protection equipment
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including:
