Full Time Field Work Paid Training Opportunity for advancement About American Energy Resources American Energy Resources is a utility services company supporting gas infrastructure projects throughout multiple states. We specialize in gas meter installation, replacement, and utility infrastructure services while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and employee development. We are currently seeking Entry Level Gas Utility Technicians in the Charlotte area. No prior gas utility experience is required. Training is provided. Pay & Advancement Starting pay based on experience Compensation range: $45,000 - $70,000 annually Overtime opportunities available Weekly performance incentives Advancement opportunities into higher-level technician positions Responsibilities Install and replace residential and commercial gas meters Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Follow company safety procedures and industry standards Complete assigned field work accurately and efficiently Maintain professional interactions with customers Work independently and as part of a field team Qualifications Valid driver's license required Ability to perform physical work outdoors Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Employment contingent upon successful background screening, drug screening, and driving record review where permitted by law Preferred Experience Utility work Construction Plumbing Mechanical experience Field service work Entry-level applicants with strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
