Job Description

We are searching for experienced and safe chemical operators and/or chemical batch makers for a direct hire role in Greensboro, NC! $24/hr Direct Hire! Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (weekly rotations) •Prior recent chemical/batch-making experience required!•
Excel:
advanced functions, v-lookups, and pivot tables.•
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Chemical Operators will off-load product from bulk container to bulk storage. Chemical Batch Makers will package product from bulk storage into drums and totes. Chemical Operators will ensure all fittings and closures are secure. Chemical Batch Makers will affix proper labels to finished goods and raw materials. Chemical Operators will be able to read, understand, and abide by SDS. Chemical Batch Makers will understand the NFPA and HMIS labeling systems. Chemical Batch Makers will maintain a high level of housekeeping in the production facility. Chemical Operators will Miscellaneous maintenance on industrial equipment, e.g. handling wrenches, etc. Chemical Batch Makers Drive forklifts. Chemical Batch Makers will load pallets of drums onto truck trailers with forklifts. Chemical Operators Follow instructions of lead chemical operator and supervisor. Chemical Batch Makers will calculate using basic mathematics. Chemical Operators will operate a human-machine interface computer. Chemical Batch Makers will be responsible for their own actions in a chemical environment as it relates to the safety of others. Chemical Operators will Running the ALAR wastewater system. Chemical Batch Makers will make confined space entries.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
: Level—Minimum High school diploma or equivalent Degree- Associate's degree strongly preferred
EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
: 1+ years of Microsoft Excel experience, including expertise with advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Have experience working in a heavy industrial chemical environment. US citizenship or permanent resident visa required due to export control regulations.
