- 6pm. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, and possess the ability to change priorities and tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities BHO Extraction Operations
- Operate and optimize closed‑loop butane/propane systems, managing temperature, pressure, and solvent ratios for maximum yield and terpene retention. Post‑Processing & Refinement
- Perform winterization, CRC (if applicable), vacuum purging, and distillation or
HTFSE/HTFSE
separation. THCa Crystallization ("Diamond Mining")
- Drive controlled crystallization processes, monitor saturation curves, and harvest diamonds with minimal nucleation loss. Purification & Quality Control
- Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure every batch meets potency, contaminant, and terpene‑profile targets. Record Keeping & Compliance
- Maintain solvent logs, batch reports, and chain‑of‑custody documentation that satisfy NMCCD and local fire‑code requirements. Safety Leadership
- Model impeccable PPE use, safe‑handling protocols, and emergency‑response drills; assist in authoring HAZOPs and lab safety SOPs. Startup Collaboration
- Partner with leadership to draft SOPs, select equipment, and train new technicians as needed.
Required Qualifications Professional experience with closed‑loop BHO extraction in a regulated lab. Demonstrated expertise in post‑processing (winterization, filtration, CRC, vacuum purging) and THCa crystallization. Familiar with Class I, Division 1 rooms, LEL monitoring, and fire‑code compliance. Strong working knowledge of NMCCD regulations, GMP, and comprehensive batch documentation.
Comfort with common lab equipment:
chillers, vacuum ovens, rotary evaporators, short‑path or wiped‑film stills. Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and wear required PPE.
