The technician will have various responsibilities and work for Hydra-Gear, a division of Purvis Industries that specializes in fluid power remanufacturing, including cylinders, gearboxes, pumps, and motors. Job Duties (training to be provided as well): Forklift operation Rigging Assembly/Disassembly of fluid power units Seal/Component Identification Failure analysis Testing Utilization of hand, air, and power tools Utilization of compressed gas and cutting torches Utilization of abrasives, adhesives, lubricants, and solvents
Job Requirements:
Prior use of hand tools preferred Steel Toe boots and safety glasses Prior experience working in an open bay shop Employee must be able to successfully handle he physical demands of the position, including exposure to excessive heat.
