Our elemental and separation science experience ranges from Aluminum through Zirconium with an emphasis on platinum group metals.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain ICP-OES instrumentation Sample preparation to a high analytical standard Laboratory operations including titration, sampling, filtration, pH testing, etc. Maintain clean and organized workspaces Assist/perform bench scale testing operations as needed Assist with tote management of spent process solutions
Requirements:
Some degree of chemical education The ability to handle wet and dry chemicals in a plant environment Technical problem solving in a chemical production environment Effective written and oral communication in English Attention to details
Special Considerations:
Associates Degree or higher, completed or in progress 0 -2 years prior experience in an analytical environment/spectroscopy Experience with small industrial production operations
HAZWOPER
Training Familiarity with 40CFR RCRA regulations Safe Forklift Operation/Forklift Certification Prior Experience in a Metal Refining Facility
