Your Role:
EMD Electronics has an opening for a Gas and Chemical Megasys Technician for its team in Tualatin, OR. The individual will be responsible for supporting the technical demands of the site gas and/or chemical equipment. Must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment. They will ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, safety, and drive flawless execution. The technician will be responsible for supporting over 500 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors. You will drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture. The individual will also be involved in Basic Safety Process, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training. With experience you will also support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting and repair of all EMD Electronics Gas Systems, precursor delivery systems, & Bulk Chemical Distribution systems. Our team supports the facility 24x7. The individual may initially be assigned to a (7:00am- 3:30pm) shift for training.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in a maintenance or equipment technician rolePreferred Qualifications:
Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained Associate degree or experience in electronics, design, or engineering Pay Range for this position: $23- 36/hour The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position.
