Position Overview Southeastern Laundry Equipment Sales is seeking an experienced Chemical Sales Representative to grow and support our chemical business throughout Georgia and Tennessee. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in commercial laundry chemicals, warewash chemicals, dispensing systems, and chemical application technology. The ideal candidate will have experience possesing a strong understanding of chemistry, chemical dispensing equipment, programming systems, and customer service. This individual will be responsible for both developing new business and servicing existing accounts. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow chemical sales within commercial laundry, hospitality, healthcare, food service, and industrial markets. Identify, prospect, and secure new customer relationships throughout Georgia and Tennessee. Maintain and expand existing customer accounts through regular service visits and relationship management. Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain chemical dispensing systems for laundry and kitchen applications. Program and adjust dispensing equipment to ensure proper chemical usage and optimal results. Conduct site surveys and provide recommendations for chemical programs, equipment, and operational efficiencies. Train customer staff on proper chemical handling, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Respond to customer service requests and resolve chemical or dispensing-related issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal sales, service, and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity reports, and account documentation. Travel regularly throughout Georgia and Tennessee to support customer needs and business development efforts. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in chemical sales, chemical service, or chemical account management. Strong understanding of commercial laundry chemicals, warewash chemicals, and sanitation programs. Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining chemical dispensing systems. Knowledge of chemical dilution systems, pump programming, injection systems, and dispensing equipment. Understanding of chemistry principles related to cleaning, sanitation, and laundry operations. Proven track record of business development, account growth, and customer retention. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must reside in the greater Atlanta area. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Ecolab, Diversey, Auto-Chlor, Spartan Chemical, Zep, Hydro Systems, Brightwell, or similar organizations. Experience servicing healthcare, hospitality, food service, industrial laundry, or on-premise laundry facilities. Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and operations.
