Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gas Technician and become a vital part of ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable gas operations across our pipeline and equipment systems. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing gas infrastructure, operating heavy equipment, and troubleshooting complex control systems. Your expertise will help deliver essential energy services while upholding the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on gas vehicles, equipment, and control systems to ensure optimal operation. Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely during installation, repair, or maintenance activities. Troubleshoot issues within distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to identify faults and implement solutions promptly. Conduct mechanical repairs on valves, pumps, compressors, and other critical infrastructure components. Assist in the installation and calibration of pipeline components while adhering to safety protocols. Use basic math skills to measure, calculate pressures, flow rates, and other operational parameters accurately. Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks involving heavy lifting or working in potentially hazardous environments. Qualifications Proven experience with equipment repair, mechanical systems, or similar roles within the diesel & gas industry. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and pipeline operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments regularly. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks. Knowledge of safety standards related to oil & gas operations and heavy equipment use. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Pay:
$15.00 - $40.00 per hour
