Production Chemist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Production Chemist to join our dynamic team. The role involves handling raw materials and operating chemical manufacturing equipment to create new chemical compounds following precise chemical formulas. You will collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and the analytical team to ensure product specifications are met. Additionally, you will work closely with chemical engineers and R D personnel to scale up processes. Responsibilities Handle and manage all raw materials for chemical operations. Operate chemical manufacturing equipment following specific chemical formulas. Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and the analytical team to ensure product specifications are met. Work with chemical engineers and R D personnel to scale up processes. Essential Skills Advanced education in the sciences (BS degree) or equivalent experience in performing chemical operations. Proficient in chemistry and chemical processing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in laboratory settings. Knowledge of chemical synthesis. Work Environment The work environment involves training Monday through Friday on first shift hours (6 am to 2:30/3:30 pm). After three to four weeks, you will transition to a weekend day shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This position is within a chemical manufacturing setting, offering a unique opportunity to engage in production chemistry for innovative applications. Enjoy a good pay structure with a three-day workweek once on shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.50 - $29.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
