Production Chemist Job Description Join our innovative team as a Production Chemist, where you will play a crucial role in handling raw materials and operating chemical manufacturing equipment. You will work collaboratively with engineers, production personnel, and the analytical team to ensure product specifications are met while contributing to the development of new chemical compounds. Responsibilities Handle all raw materials for chemical operations. Operate chemical manufacturing equipment and follow specific chemical formulas to create new chemical compounds. Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and the analytical team to ensure product specifications are met. Work with chemical engineers and R D personnel to scale up processes. Essential Skills Advanced education, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Sciences or equivalent experience in chemical operations. Proficiency in chemistry and chemical processing. Experience in handling chemical synthesis and laboratory work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in working with new formulas and chemical processes. Ability to scale chemical processes for production. Work Environment Work is conducted within the Technology & Innovation group, essentially the R D team, and involves collaboration with all organizational groups to test new formulas and scale processes. Enjoy a three-day work week once on the shift, contributing to production chemistry for exciting applications. Schedule is 6am to 6pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Training will be 3-6 weeks, depending on how quickly a person takes to learn the role then will transition to the schedule above. Training schedule is Monday-Friday from 6am to 2:30pm/4:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
