Position Summary The Bioconjugation group within Discovery Biotherapeutics is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented scientist to design, produce, purify, and characterize antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates (AOCs) in support of early-stage discovery programs. This is a hands-on laboratory role in which you will work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to advance next-generation targeted therapeutics from concept through preclinical evaluation. Key Responsibilities Independently plan, execute, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments for the conjugation of ADCs and AOCs, including reaction optimization, purification, and analytical characterization of the resulting conjugates. Design, produce, and characterize ADCs and/or AOCs on the 1-100 mg scale, ensuring each conjugate meets established quality-control criteria: target conjugation ratio (e.g., drug-to-antibody ratio, DAR), purity, low aggregate content, endotoxin limits, etc. Optimize and develop new conjugation and purification workflows to improve reproducibility, efficiency, product quality, and scalability. Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely experimental records in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), and register conjugates and upload supporting analytical data to the appropriate sample-tracking and data-management systems. Required Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills Education & Experience Associate's or vocational degree with 3-5 years of relevant academic or industry experience; or Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 0-1 years of relevant experience. Academic or hands-on background in one or more of the following: protein science, bioconjugation, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and/or chemical biology. Technical Expertise Hands-on experience handling proteins and antibodies, with working knowledge of common bioconjugation chemistries and workflows, including lysine (amine) conjugation, reduced inter-chain cysteine conjugation, and site-specific/engineered cysteine conjugation. Demonstrated ability to optimize and perform protein purification on Ä
