Onsite Shift Time:
8:30am to 5:00pm Job Responsibilities Responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of production equipment Responsible for cleaning and charging of chromatography resins Order, Transfer, and stock laboratory supplies and materials as directed Complete maintenance and calibration logs sheets as needed. Carry out production tasks in support of manufacturing goals and objectives. Production of small scale biological reagents as directed, following established guidelines and procedures. Maintain documentation and manufacturing batch records in an accurate, timely and thorough manner. Performs chromatography purification techniques (small scale). Performs fermentation processes for bioreactor cell growth (small scale). Perform required data entry on company planning and materials management system. Carry out functions which may require multiple task coordination. Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job; has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business Education BA or BS degree in Chemistry or Biological Sciences; or equivalent work experience Zero to two years of experience Preferred Qualifications Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records and notes, and carry out assignments in a thorough, conscientious fashion while adhering to safe laboratory practices. Experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting in a laboratory environment Training in the operation of lab equipment and use of lab chemicals and tools.
