Job Description

Chemist Los Angeles, CA Full-Time, On-Site Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Chemist to support laboratory operations and ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of chemical testing and analysis. This role is fully on-site in Los Angeles and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting critical projects across manufacturing, environmental, or industrial applications. Key Responsibilities Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing using standard methods and instrumentation Maintain accurate records of test results, observations, and procedures Interpret data and prepare reports with clear conclusions and recommendations Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and quality control procedures Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment Support method development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, production, and engineering Job Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field 2 to 5 years of hands-on laboratory experience Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and analytical methods Experience with instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, or similar Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, or similar) Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation Effective communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, environmental, pharmaceutical, or industrial settings Familiarity with LIMS or other laboratory data systems Experience with method development or validation Work Environment Fully on-site role based in Los Angeles Laboratory setting with standard safety protocols and PPE requirements Collaborative team environment with opportunities for growth Referrals are welcome.
