Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analytical Chemist to join our growing laboratory team. This is a bench-focused, hands-on role supporting sample preparation, routine testing, and data generation within a regulated GMP/GLP environment. You will work alongside experienced scientists to build practical analytical skills and contribute directly to client project deliverables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Perform routine analytical testing using established methods, including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, ICP-MS, and ELISA + Prepare samples, reagents, and standards in strict accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) + Execute experiments and assays following pre-validated protocols with accuracy and consistency + Record, document, and report data in laboratory notebooks or electronic LIMS systems + Assist with data analysis and result summaries under the direction of senior scientists + Support routine maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation + Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment aligned with safety and quality standards + Contribute to SOP updates and technical documentation as needed + Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to support project timelines and deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
+ B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline + 1-2 years of laboratory experience (industry preferred; exceptional academic experience considered) + Hands-on familiarity with analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, and UV/Vis spectroscopy + Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined procedures and protocols precisely + Ability to manage multiple samples and concurrent tasks in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Preferred:
+ Exposure to or foundational knowledge of GMP/GLP regulatory environments + Experience with LIMS or electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) systems + Familiarity with LC/MS, ICP-MS, or ELISA techniques

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
