Job Description:
Perform routine analytical testing using established methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC/MS, ICP-MS, ELISA) Prepare samples, reagents, and standards in accordance with SOPs Execute experiments and assays following pre-validated methods and protocols Accurately record, document, and report data in lab notebooks or LIMS Assist with data analysis and result summaries under supervision Support maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab environment (safety + quality standards) Assist in SOP updates and documentation as needed Collaborate with team members to support project timelines and deliverables
Requirements:
B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field 1-2 years of lab experience (industry preferred; strong academic experience considered) Hands-on familiarity with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV, etc.) Basic understanding of GMP/GLP environments preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures (SOPs) Ability to manage multiple samples and tasks in a fast-paced lab setting Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hercules, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
