Key Responsibilities:
Develop, validate, and execute analytical methods (HPLC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, ICP‑MS, ELISA, MSD) to support client drug substance and drug product programs. Perform sample analysis for small and/or large molecules across multiple phases of development under strict regulatory timelines. Independently author, review, and execute SOPs, methods, validation protocols, and final client reports in compliance with GMP/GLP requirements. Critically review raw data for accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance with moderate to minimal supervision. Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on analytical instrumentation to support uninterrupted project execution. Coordinate consumables, reagents, and equipment needs to meet client timelines and project budgets. Ensure laboratory readiness, safety, and inspection preparedness for regulatory and client audits. Stay current with analytical chemistry advancements and contribute to continuous improvement and technology adoption.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
B.S. in Chemistry or related scientific field (advanced degree preferred). 3-7 years of hands‑on experience in a GMP and/or GLP analytical laboratory; CRO experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting. Strong working knowledge of chromatographic and bioanalytical techniques; Sciex
LC/MS/MS
experience preferred. Proficiency with analytical data systems (e.g., Agilent ChemStation, OpenLab, or equivalent). Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and shifting priorities in a deadline‑driven environment. Excellent technical writing, data interpretation, and client‑facing communication skills. High level of independence, attention to detail, and accountability for data quality and timelines Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hercules, CA.
