Job Description
Johnson Service Group is looking for a QC Chemist with 2 years of experience with laboratory testing techniques, gained through education or employment.
- Knowledge of Quality Control (QC) lab practices, procedures, and equipment.
Salary:
$66K DOE Schedule:
Currently Monday through Thursday 4/10 schedule (for now) This could changes based on business growth and needs. Must be prepared this could turn into a 5 day week. The Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for analyzing materials using a variety of instrumental and testing methods as part of the Coast Southwest Quality Control Laboratory Department.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively and cooperatively with other chemists and plant personnel.- Determine and calculate appropriate additions to batches.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines, SOPs, and other site-specific documentation. Participate in periodic safety and staff meetings.
- Stay current on industry trends, standards, and regulations. Perform other duties as required and directed by the Manager. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline. Minimum of two (2) years of experience with laboratory testing techniques, gained through education or employment.
