Contract Compensation:
up to $32 per hour Responsibilities Perform reliable sample preparation and analytical testing following SOPs and safety procedures Optimize and troubleshoot analytical methods and sample preparation techniques Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and related software Analyze data, prepare reports, perform trend analysis, and recommend next steps Accurately document laboratory activities and instrument logs in notebooks or systems Present analytical results clearly to project teams and management Support general lab operations, including maintaining a clean and safe lab, ordering supplies, and managing instrument and chemical inventories Provide guidance or training to others on routine analytical assignments as needed Requirements 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory (consumer goods, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, CRO, etc.) B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field Experience working in regulated lab environments (GLP/GMP; EPA/FDA methods preferred) Proficiency with wet chemistry techniques (weighing, pipetting, dilutions, extractions, titrations, moisture analysis, pH adjustment, etc.) Experience with analytical instrumentation such as UV/VIS, fluorescence, LC, GC, and/or IC Ability to develop, optimize, validate, and transfer analytical methods and assays Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including statistical analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint preferred) Strong attention to safety, documentation, and SOP compliance System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
