A Quality Control Chemist uses chemistry analysis to test samples of manufacturing or pharmaceutical products, to ensure that products meet quality standards.
Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and health sciences industry, is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting laboratory testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive communication, and a strong commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Monday•Friday, 7:00 am•3:30 pm What's the Job? Perform testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate, and bulk products to determine identity, purity, quality, strength, and composition. Support peer data review and investigational testing as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Conduct physical, chemical, and instrumental testing on raw materials, bulk, and finished products to support QC release, investigations, and method development. Document all raw data and results accurately in accordance with Pharmavite Standard Methods and cGMP guidelines. Perform scheduled calibration of laboratory instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment. What's Needed? A four-year college or university degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related science. Basic knowledge of chemistry and analytical chemistry laboratory operations. Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as auto titrators, balances, UV, FTIR, HPLC, GC, and ICP is preferred. Strong data entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
