The R D team collaborates across disciplines to drive product innovation, improve performance, and deliver high-impact scientific solutions. Responsibilities Conduct independent and collaborative research in alignment with Agilent's R D objectives. Prepare samples, design and run LC/MS methods, as well as analyze LC/MS data. Develop and optimize methodologies, workflows, and instrumentation techniques. Interpret complex data sets and present findings to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product development, and applications. Contribute to scientific publications, technical reports, and internal documentation. Support innovation efforts by identifying new technologies, trends, and research opportunities. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field. Strong background in analytical instrumentation (e.g., LC/MS, GC/MS, HPLC, etc.). Demonstrated experience in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving. Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with scientific publications or presentations is preferred. Familiarity with regulated environments or quality systems (e.g., ISO, GMP) is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Post Doc positions are eligible for holiday pay and medical insurance benefits offered under Agilent Technologies medical plans; no other benefits will apply.) The US pay rate for this position is $50.73-$67.57 per hour, plus eligibility for paid holidays and medical benefits. Our pay rates are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum intern pay for the position across the relevant US location(s). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including any job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training.
