This role plays a key part in advancing chemical testing technologies used in water quality and environmental monitoring. This position is part of the Research & Development Department and supports the development of innovative analytical chemistry solutions that ensure the reliability and accuracy of environmental monitoring systems and will be Onsite in Fort Collins.

• In this role, a typical day will look like:
• + Designing and performing validation testing to ensure water quality monitoring equipment and analytical methods meet performance expectations + Leading photometric and UV-Vis reagent method development for existing and next-generation products + Developing and documenting analytical methods to ensure reproducibility and technical accuracy + Documenting and presenting research findings through high-quality technical reports + Supporting Operations teams in developing QA/QC systems to ensure analyzers and reagents meet analytical specifications + Troubleshooting chemical interferences in field applications through bench testing and field sample analysis + Supporting product field testing and validation activities + Providing technical chemistry expertise to internal cross-functional teams + Training and mentoring junior chemists and laboratory technicians + Ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety requirements, including safe chemical handling and disposal •The essential requirements of the job include:•+ MS or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory research, chemical production, or analytical instrumentation development. + Experience in method development, ideally photometric or spectrometric analytical methods.

• Preferred qualifications
• + Familiarity with industrial analytical instrumentation and sensors used in environmental monitoring. + Experience supporting analytical chemistry applications in field or production environments.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
