8-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities Successfully make hair color laboratory batches, conducting product stability, evaluate color performance, and record and report results Assist in the maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results Requirements BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation Ability to lift bulk materials, fill consumer laboratory samples, and prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products and CGMP practices required Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude Strong communication and analytical skills Quick learner Strong data management (Excel etc.) Experience with lab equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, viscometer, and interaction with raw material suppliers a plus Experience with Microsoft applications in a plus System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
