Dexsil products take sophisticated analysis out of the laboratory and into the field, saving customers time and money, while safeguarding expensive equipment and preserving our environment. We are seeking a motivated Formulation Chemist/Technician to join our expanding production team. You will work with R & D to scale up prototype formulations to full production quantities. This role is responsible for mixing, testing, analyzing stability, and documenting results under the guidance of senior scientists.
Core Responsibilities Formulation & Mixing:
Measure, mix, and blend raw materials and active ingredients according to precise, prescribed formulas.
Testing & Analysis:
Conduct laboratory experiments to analyze product stability, efficacy, and safety.
Documentation:
Meticulously record data in lab notebooks and batch records for quality control and regulatory compliance.
Troubleshooting:
Identify issues in the formulation process and work on iterative improvements to prototypes.
Raw Material Research:
Evaluating new ingredients and sourcing raw materials to meet product requirements.
Safety & Cleanliness:
Adhere strictly to safety regulations and maintain lab cleanliness.
Required Skills and Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related sciences.
Lab Experience:
Direct experience with laboratory equipment, such as scales, mixers, pH meters, and automatic titrators.
Skills:
Proficiency with basic laboratory techniques.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good verbal/written communication, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in team-oriented environments.
Software:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
