About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Global Innovation Leader to lead breakthrough innovation, advanced material technology development, and strategic technical growth across Gore Performance Solutions. This leader will define and execute an enterprise-wide innovation strategy supporting Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Electronics, Semiconductor, and Industrial markets. The strategic, high energy partner will drive GPS operating company technologies into the future partnering with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a long-term innovation strategy aligned with growth objectives
Drive development of next-generation materials, technologies, and platform capabilities
Lead exploration, incubation, and commercialization of breakthrough innovations
Serve as a strategic technical partner to key customers and external stakeholders
Is a member of the Gore Performance Solutions Leadership Team
Steward innovation and R D investments to maximize business value
Champion enterprise intellectual property strategy and technology differentiation
Lead and develop a high-performing global team of scientists, engineers, and innovators
Implement the Gore Business System throughout the Innovation function to accelerate development cycles and bring products & solutions faster to markets & customers
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
15 years leading innovation, R D, advanced technology, or product development organizations
Demonstrated success commercializing breakthrough technologies and materials
Proven leadership across global organizations and multiple geographies
Strong business acumen and customer-focused innovation mindset
Desired Qualifications
Experience across Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Electronics, Semiconductor, and Industrial markets
Expertise in advanced materials, membranes, polymers, fibers, filtration, or related technologies
