Chemistry Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare solutions, reagents, and standards for chemistry analysis. Responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure that products meet QC requirements. Perform entry and review of data entered into the laboratory notebooks. Assist in calibrating laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order. Perform cleaning of reusable labware and tools. Establish and maintain productive and positive working relationships with laboratory staff. Follow all standard operating procedures and good documentation practices. Perform other duties as may be assigned.Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related science with 3-5 years of laboratory experience required.
- Experience with Wet chemistry, FTIR, Viscosity, Density, pH, Dissolution prep.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of elementary principles of chemistry.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical and judgement skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent organizational skill to work independently, handles multiple tasks, manage time.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge in pharmaceutical analysis, have a practical / hands-on approach to their work, and should have a keen eye for detail and a flexible "can-do" attitude.
Safety Sensitive Position:
- Working with testing equipment with hot surfaces.
- Handling chemicals including acids and solvents used in the testing process.
Job Type:
Full-time Work Schedule:
40-hour workweek, Monday- Friday 10:00 am
- 6:30pm
Pay:
$ 17.00- $ 21.
