The Opportunity This position, Senior Scientist II Analytical Chemist/Biochemist works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the Core Lab Biomolecular group. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers. What You'll Work On This is a senior-level laboratory scientist role for someone experienced in testing and analyzing protein-based biological products. The job involves running experiments, solving technical problems, analyzing data, collaborating with product development teams, and helping ensure biological products perform as expected. The person hired will help with the design and execution of bioanalytical experiments toward characterization of biologic reagents used in clinical product formulations.
