Pay Range:

$40 to $45 an hour.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Scientist with strong quantitative mass spectrometry experience to support analytical method development and optimization.

The role will focus on generating reliable and reproducible data through well designed laboratory experiments.

The scientist will independently execute experiments, interpret results, troubleshoot deviations, and apply scientific literature to technical challenges.

Strong attention to detail, scientific expertise, and a collaborative approach are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and conduct critical experiments to support project goals and scientific programs.

Develop, implement, and optimize experimental protocols and analytical techniques.

Perform routine and complex laboratory activities independently while maintaining reliable and consistent results.

Interpret experimental results, identify significant deviations, and design appropriate follow up experiments.

Apply relevant scientific literature and theoretical knowledge to solve technical problems.

Maintain compliance with applicable laboratory safety, material handling, controlled substance, radioactive material, GxP, and animal care requirements where applicable.

Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to project objectives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree or equivalent education with relevant experience.

Quantitative mass spectrometry experience is required.

Demonstrated proficiency using different extraction conditions is required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to generate reliable and reproducible data.

Ability to independently design, execute, and interpret laboratory experiments.

Ability to understand and apply relevant scientific literature.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automated liquid handlers.

Experience with laboratory automation and high throughput workflows.

Experience developing or optimizing analytical extraction methods.
