This role is ideal for recent graduates with a BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable with repetitive, accuracy-critical lab work.
Pay & Schedule Pay:
$21/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, start time between 7:30-8:30am
Contract:
12month contract, with opportunities for extension, conversion, or internal growth
The Role:
What You'll Do As an Analytical Analyst, you'll support scientists with day-to-day formulation sample preparation and analysis using a variety of analytical techniques in a fast-paced R D environment.
Sample Preparation & Analysis:
Accurately weigh, prepare, and analyze large volumes of formulation samples for active ingredients and degradants (quantitative and qualitative).
Instrumentation:
Learn and operate analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC/GC/MS); perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting with SME support.
Method Validation Support:
Assist with method validation experiments as needed.
Automation & High-Throughput Workflows:
Support initiatives to build and scale automated, high-throughput analytical workflows (e.g., Hamilton systems for sample dilution).
Data Integrity:
Process analytical data and document experiments and results promptly to ensure quality, accuracy, and traceability.
Collaboration & Flexibility:
Interact effectively with scientists and stakeholders; reprioritize quickly to meet urgent project needs while also working independently when required.
Safety & Compliance:
Meet all EHS&S requirements and demonstrate a strong, consistent commitment to lab safety. Training & Support This position includes structured onboarding and hands-on training alongside subject matter experts. You'll learn instrument operation, documentation practices, and troubleshooting/maintenance basics. Qualifications We're looking for candidates who bring the following:
Education :
BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. Attention to

Exceptional accuracy in sample weighing, pipetting, and documentation; comfort with repetitive, high-volume tasks. Willingness to
Learn :
Enthusiasm for continuous learning, adhering to safety standards, and mastering new instruments and workflows.
Communication :
Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams.
Mindset :
Self-motivated, driven, and eager to work in a collaborative, team-oriented R D environment. Core Skills Strong foundation in analytical chemistry principles and lab best practices. Accuracy and consistency in high-volume sample preparation and data documentation. Ability to learn and operate HPLC, GC, and related instrumentation with SME guidance. Basic troubleshooting and maintenance exposure through on-the-job training. Flexibility to balance independent work with close collaboration and shifting priorities.
