Job Description
Analytical Method Development - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Chemist where you will perform routine analysis of finished pharmaceutical dosages and raw materials following approved analytical methodologies and specifications. You will also design and execute method transfer protocols, method validations, and write method transfer and validation reports. Responsibilities + Perform routine analysis of finished pharmaceutical dosages and raw materials. + Design and execute method transfer protocols and method validations. + Write method transfer and validation reports. + Design and execute cleaning validation protocols and write final reports. + Support activities to develop analytical methods to assess the purity, potency, and stability of drug substances and finished products. + Demonstrate proficiency in
HPLC /GC
analysis and preparation of reagents and sample solutions for testing. + Operate laboratory analytical instrumentation and assist in troubleshooting laboratory equipment. + Maintain accurate, detailed records of work performed. + Ensure testing adherence to schedules through team-oriented processes. + Read and interpretUSP , EP, JP
compendial monographs, and analytical methodologies. + Write SOPs, laboratory protocols and reports, memos, and other interdepartmental correspondence. + Train and provide guidance to other personnel, becoming a subject matter expert in general and advanced laboratory practices. + Utilize root cause analysis tools and technical writing to complete laboratory investigations. + Independently conduct and document laboratory investigations and act as a backup for the laboratory supervisor. Essential Skills + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related life-science field. + 6-10 years of industry experience as a pharmaceutical chemist. + Proficiency in HPLC , GC, analytical method development, and method validation. + Experience with small molecule pharmaceuticals. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Empower proficiency is a plus. + Experience in data review. Work Environment You will be working in a growing animal health pharmaceutical facility that recently secured a significant project. The team consists of 6-8 other chemists, and you will work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm in a collaborative and supportive laboratory environment.
