Job Description
Are you a lubricant formulation expert looking for more influence, visibility, and ownership within an R&D organization? HiFyve is partnering with an established manufacturer seeking a Senior Chemist to lead formulation, testing, and product development efforts for industrial lubricant products. This is an opportunity to play a key role in technical decision-making, mentor developing chemists, and help shape the future direction of a growing product portfolio. What You'll Do Lead formulation and development of industrial lubricants, greases, and related products Evaluate raw materials, additives, and supplier technologies Design and execute laboratory testing and validation programs Analyze data and provide technical recommendations to leadership Develop and improve laboratory procedures and testing methods Mentor laboratory staff and provide technical guidance Partner with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams on product initiatives Support innovation, continuous improvement, and new product development efforts What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline Experience formulating lubricants, greases, oils, or industrial fluid products Strong knowledge of analytical testing methods and laboratory instrumentation Experience supporting manufacturing and product development environments Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate across departments Why Consider This Opportunity Relocation assistance available Highly visible role within the R&D organization Opportunity to influence product strategy and technical direction Established company with long-term growth plans Career path beyond traditional bench chemistry roles If you're interested in learning more, apply today or contact Kris Flood at HiFyve kris.flood@hifyve.com for a confidential discussion.
