  • Full-time Position Summary The Toxicology Technician will support analytical testing within a high‑throughput laboratory environment, performing sample preparation, and instrumental analysis using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC/MS) instrumentation.
This role is essential in ensuring accurate, reliable results. This position is part time on Friday's and Saturday's 9a-6p. Key Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC/MS or
LC-MS/MS
instrumentation. Perform routine instrument calibration, performance checks, tuning, and preventative maintenance. Prepare and analyze urine samples using validated LC/MS methods. Monitor instrument performance, identify analytical issues, and assist in developing corrective actions. Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to CLIA requirements such as Participate in method verification, validation, and proficiency testing. Uphold all quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) practices, including running controls and reviewing QC outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, or related scientific field. Hands-on experience with LC/MS or
LC-MS/MS
instrumentation. Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, sample preparation techniques, and chromatographic separation. Ability to follow SOPs, manage time efficiently, and work in a regulated laboratory environment. Ideal candidate qualifies as a General Supervisor under CLIA rules and regulations.
