Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Large Molecule Associate Chemist with a strong foundation in HPLC and analytical characterization techniques to support biotherapeutic formulation and process development.

This is a laboratory-based role focused on evaluating biologic products through advanced chromatography and complementary analytical methods. You will contribute to programs across the full development lifecycle—from early research through commercialization—while generating high-quality data to assess stability, purity, and overall product performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform analytical testing with a strong emphasis on HPLC techniques, including SE-HPLC, IEX, HIC, and RP-HPLCConduct detailed characterization of biologics using:

Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE)Imaged Capillary Electrophoresis (iCE)Spectroscopic and particulate analysis methodsEvaluate stability, purity, and analytical performance of biologic candidates (e.g., monoclonal antibodies, proteins, mRNA, vaccines, ADCs)Support formulation and process development through data generation and interpretationCompile, analyze, and present experimental data in reports and presentationsUtilize laboratory systems such as Empower and ELNs for data capture and documentationMaintain day-to-day laboratory operations, including reagent management and equipment upkeepCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support program progression and deliverables
QualificationsBasic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutics, or a related scientific fieldMinimum 1+ year of industry experience in analytical testing, with a focus on chromatography (preferably HPLC)Hands-on experience working with biologics (e.g., proteins, monoclonal antibodies, enzymes, vaccines, mRNA, ADCs)Familiarity with analytical techniques used in large molecule characterizationAuthorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred:
Experience with HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, or similar platformsStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience with laboratory data systems (e.g., Empower, ELN)Additional InformationWhat to Expect in the
