B.S. or B.A. in Chemistry, preferably from an ACS (American Chemical Society) accredited program A thorough understanding of chemistry at the undergraduate level Experience with general laboratory techniques such as distillation, filtration, closed transfer, crystallization, rotary evaporators, vacuum pumps/ovens and small/large scale glassware. Paying $24 - $25.38 per hour; depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

Conduct synthesis of organic compounds and polymers at laboratory scale up to several hundred grams Use analytical tests to facilitate effective process development, characterize products and ensure final product quality. Document experiments and help in the preparation of technology transfer packages to CROs/CMOs. Maintaining full compliance with all departmental and site-specific Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality regulations, systems, and procedures covering laboratory and scale-up activities.
