  • Manage, recruit, integrate, and develop high-quality talent that delivers against company goals.
  • Provide developmental feedback and coaching while encouraging a collaborative environment.
  • Establish, communicate, and manage department, team, and individual performance objectives consistent with company goals and individual development.
  • Direct the training and scheduling of staff to ensure company and individual performance objectives are met.
  • Work to optimize current assays to increase throughput and efficiency. Qualifications
  • PhD in chemistry (preferred), biology, genomics, microbiology, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience demonstrating exceptional personnel management.
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of document control systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with processing plant and biological samples, including extraction, qPCR analysis, and microbiological plating techniques.
  • Experience with gas and/or liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel and GraphPad Prism. Additional Requirements
  • Must meet the requirements set forth in 105 CMR 725.000 and must not have been convicted of an excluded felony offense as defined in 105 CMR 725.030.
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
