Job Description

Chemist Contract Chemist (6-Month)
  • Automotive R DHagerstown, MDPays:
    $35

We're seeking a self-motivated, data-driven Chemist to join an innovative R D team on a 6-month contract within a fast-paced automotive environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical expertise and a passion for problem-solving and product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments (ICP-OES, FTIR, TGA, GC, HPLC
  • Develop and validate test methods for quality and product performance
  • Conduct experiments across spectroscopy, chromatography, and wet chemistry
  • Support product development, QC, and manufacturing troubleshooting
  • Manage lab data in LIMS and produce clear technical reports
  • Ensure compliance with GLP, CGMP, and
ISO 9001
standardsWell qualified candidates will bring
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Hands-on analytical and QC lab experience in manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills
  • Experience with LIMS and regulatory standardsThis position comes with
  • Pay of $35
  • 51/hr
