Field Applications Scientist

  • Rockville, MD Seeking an experienced Applications Scientist to provide customer service for analysis instrumentation including advising on pre
  • and post-sales applications and technical support.
Ideal candidate is an experienced bench level scientist or application scientist with a strong background in
Chromatography and Mass SpectrometryActivities:
  • Train customers on instrument use.
  • Advise on assay development and data analysis.
  • Accompany Sales Representatives on sales calls in customer laboratories to provide technical and applications assistance.
  • Provide on-going assay development support and troubleshoot customers' issues in-person, via phone and email.
  • Supply field experience feedback to marketing and product development teams.
  • Support creation and improvement technical manuals and application notes.
