Job Description

Cell Culture Scientist ImmuCell Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Cell Culture Scientist to join our Vaccine Manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in the production of viral antigens used in animal health products and will be responsible for executing, troubleshooting, and continuously improving cell culture-based manufacturing processes in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with cell culture systems, viral propagation, and biotechnology manufacturing. This individual will be expected to independently execute manufacturing operations, support investigations, identify root causes of process issues, and contribute to process improvements. Responsibilities Perform cell culture operations including cell expansion, maintenance, infection, harvest, and process monitoring. Execute manufacturing processes in accordance with approved SOPs, batch records, and cGMP requirements. Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and contemporaneously. Support viral propagation and antigen production processes utilizing mammalian and insect cell culture systems. Maintain aseptic technique and perform operations within biosafety cabinets and controlled laboratory environments. Troubleshoot manufacturing and process-related issues to support consistent product yield and quality. Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure readiness of manufacturing suites. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and project goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline. 2-5 years of hands-on cell culture experience in an academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience managing multiple concurrent activities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a cGMP-regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment. Experience with viral culture, viral propagation, vaccine manufacturing, or viral vector production.
