Job Description
Jackson State University invites applications for a full-time Laboratory Coordinator position in the Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Atmospheric Sciences. Organize and make preparations for laboratory supplies, upgrades, improvements, and purchasing and maintenance Assist faculty members with preparing solutions and equipment for labs, stockroom upkeep, inventory, waste disposal, and safety records. Equipment maintenance including DI water supply and other instructional lab needs. Oversee departmental inventory. Other duties assigned. MS in Chemistry or closely related field with one year of experience in laboratory safety and maintenance issues.
