We are seeking an Analytical Scientist II with exceptional problem-solving skills to join our Research and Development team in High Point, NC, United States. As an Analytical Scientist III, you will have a crucial role in advancing our research initiatives and contributing to the development of innovative scientific solutions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct cleaning method development and validation for our wide range of products- Perform routine and investigational testing in accordance with approved methods and specifications, including chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses. Evaluate results, identify trends, and support investigations related to out-of-specification or atypical findings.
- Conduct additional testing as required to support quality investigations, regulatory inquiries, supplier qualification, method validation or verification, stability studies, and risk assessments, including but not limited to impurity, residual solvent, volatile, and trace-level analyses.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with applicable GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements. Accurately document results, prepare technical summaries, and communicate findings to cross-functional stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending or implementing enhanced analytical approaches when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and objectives
- Design and conduct experiments to assess and enhance cleaning procedures
- Analyze samples and interpret data using statistical tools and software
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to individuals and groups within and outside the organization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies and processes
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in analytical techniques Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A BS degree with 2+ years of relative experience or MS Degree with 1 year experience, a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field
- Proven experience in cleaning method development and validation
- Proficiency in using analytical instruments and software, including but not limited to LC/MS, FTIR and HPLC.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
