In this role, you will lead cutting-edge laboratory investigations, develop and validate analytical methods, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Duties Conduct complex chemical analyses using advanced laboratory techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry to characterize pharmaceutical compounds. Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods in accordance with ICH guidelines, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reproducibility. Perform sample preparation, calibration, and instrument maintenance for laboratory equipment including spectrophotometers, FTIR spectrometers, LC-MS systems, GC-MS instruments, and other chromatography tools. Maintain strict adherence to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations to ensure laboratory compliance. Execute quality control procedures by analyzing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to meet quality standards. Document experimental procedures, results, and observations meticulously in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for traceability and regulatory review. Support method validation activities including robustness testing, stability studies, and method transfer protocols within a pharmaceutical laboratory environment. Skills Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards including FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, CGMP/GMP practices. Skilled in sample preparation techniques for biochemical analyses and spectroscopic analysis of complex samples. Knowledge of laboratory techniques used in biochemical laboratories such as enzyme assays or protein characterization is a plus. Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management and documentation. Ability to perform method validation activities such as calibration curve generation, limit of detection/quantification determination, system suitability testing, and stability assessments. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on laboratory equipment troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure optimal performance..
