Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Granulation Operator, where your expertise will drive the production of high-quality pharmaceutical and industrial chemical products. In this vital role, you will operate granulation equipment, ensure strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Operate granulation machinery and material handling equipment in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. Prepare raw materials, chemicals, and pharmaceutical agents for processing, ensuring proper handling and storage using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gloves. Monitor equipment performance, perform routine maintenance checks, troubleshoot issues promptly, and document operational data accurately. Follow strict safety protocols related to industrial chemical handling, respiratory protection, PPE usage, and machinery operation to maintain a safe work environment. Assist with packaging processes, ensuring products meet quality specifications and regulatory compliance standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Conduct quality checks during the granulation process, including basic math calculations for batch consistency and laboratory testing when necessary. Support compliance with regulatory/legal standards in production by maintaining detailed records of material handling, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing environments with knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency. Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other industry-specific regulations. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, troubleshooting, and basic machining skills is highly desirable. Experience handling industrial chemicals safely, including proper use of PPE such as respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gloves. Ability to operate material handling equipment like forklifts safely; certification preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing SOPs, safety protocols, and laboratory procedures relevant to pharmaceutical or chemical production. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording during production processes. Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or industrial chemical plant is advantageous. Excellent adherence to safety protocols with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe work environment.
