We are looking for a candidate to provide expertise and laboratory support for the quantitative analysis of biomarkers and therapeutics in drug discovery and development. Responsibilities The primary responsibilities are qualification and validation of LC-MS-based bioanalytical assays, as well as study sample analysis in GCP/GLP environment. Assays may include, but are not limited to, biomarkers (small molecules, peptides, proteins, etc.) and small-molecule drugs and ADCs. Responsibilities include sample preparation and LC-MS analysis, troubleshooting assays with minimal guidance, and reporting sample analysis results to the manager in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who is highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 3-5+ years) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • At least 3 years of experience working in the lab. Hands-on experience in LCMS sample preparation, method development, and sample analysis is required. Self-starter, conscientious, quality- and results-driven, pro-active, data-focused, scientifically engaged. Experience in using triple quadrupole MS and/or high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) platforms. • Experience in handling biofluids such as serum, plasma, urine, and/or CSF. Experience with proteomics sample preparation pipelines (e.g., digestion, sample cleanup, etc.) is desirable. Experience with LC-MS quantitative proteomics is a plus. Handling immuno-capture LC-MS assay workflow and basic knowledge of ligand-binding assay (LBA) is a plus. Experience of developing biomarker LC-MS assay is a plus. Experience of working in GCP and/or GLP environment is a plus. Familiarity with protein analysis software for targeted proteomics is a plus. Basic understanding of instrumentation and protocol troubleshooting. Ability to keep accurate and timely documentation per departmental guidelines and communicate abnormal laboratory observations. Ability to work in a collaborative work environment is essential. Possess excellent communication and organizational skills in a cross-functional environment.
