This person will help execute the product concept from technical planning toward launch readiness, including chemistry/materials documentation, formulation and prototype support, supplier/manufacturer outreach, quote collection, manufacturing-readiness planning, technical reporting, and commercialization support. The ideal candidate should have a background or strong interest in chemistry, biomaterials, materials science, polymer science, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, medical device development, dental materials, pharmaceutical science, or related fields. Responsibilities include organizing technical records, supporting coating/formulation documentation, contacting manufacturers and suppliers, comparing MOQ/tooling/cost/certification information, preparing product-development summaries, supporting patent-readiness materials, and helping prepare launch-related documentation. This is a contract-based startup project role at $100/hour, up to approximately 200 hours depending on experience and project needs. New Jersey preferred; hybrid work may be possible. The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with manufacturers, and willing to sign an NDA, confidentiality agreement, IP assignment, and applicable non-solicitation/non-compete agreement where legally permissible.
