Formulation Scientist

Responsibilities Design and develop novel drug formulations by applying principles of chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology. Conduct comprehensive experiments utilizing analytical chemistry techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), spectroscopy, and chromatography to characterize formulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality control, regulatory affairs, and clinical development to ensure seamless product progression from concept to commercialization. Optimize formulation processes in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and

standards to ensure consistency and compliance. Prepare detailed reports on experimental design, results, and process improvements while maintaining meticulous laboratory records. Evaluate raw materials and finished products for stability, bioavailability, and safety in alignment with FDA regulations and other applicable standards. Stay current with advancements in organic chemistry, industrial laboratory practices, intellectual property law, and clinical trial requirements to inform formulation strategies. Experience Proven laboratory experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological formulation development within an industrial setting. Strong background in chemistry, including organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, spectroscopy, and chromatography techniques such as HPLC. Familiarity with drug discovery processes, product development stages, and regulatory frameworks including FDA regulations and CGMP standards. Experience designing experiments using principles of experimental design to troubleshoot formulation issues or improve processes. Knowledge of molecular biology techniques relevant to biopharmaceutical formulations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a regulated environment adhering to

standards and intellectual property considerations. Prior involvement in clinical trials or biochemistry projects that support product safety and efficacy assessments.
