Quality Control Analytical Color Matcher DMI Personal Care Wharton, NJ Job Details Full-time $24 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Bachelor of Science Basic math Good documentation practices (GDP) GMP Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Quality inspection Full Job Description Purpose of position: A Quality Control Analytical Color Matcher inspects, tests, and validates incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations. Performs physical/chemical tests, document results in Laboratory Information or reports, and approve or reject materials for production use, ensuring compliance with SOP's and cGMP's.
Primary Responsibilities:
Testing:
Conduct routine analytical testing on incoming raw materials.
Compliance & Documentation:
Accurately document test results and maintain quality records (CoA's), ensuring all materials meet specifications.
Sample Preparation:
Perform sample preparation techniques to submit them to internal and/or external laboratories.
Laboratory Maintenance:
Make sure that the equipments are properly calibrate, clean, and in good performing conditions.
Quality Control:
Isolate, label, and report non-conforming materials to quality manager.
Inventory Coordination:
Organize raw material samples, manage retain samples, and support inventory tracking.
Job Skills & Qualifications Requirements:
Minimum BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, or any scientific discipline. 2+ years of experience working in a laboratory. Basic communication, mathematics, and computer skills/literacy, MS Office proficient. Knowledge of cGMP's, GDP and GLPs ensuring compliance with current regulations. Ability to work independently and closely follow quality standards. Attention to detail, multitasking, decision-making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Great team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision. A willingness to learn new tasks and skills as training is provided. Able to sit, stand and walk around for long hours at a time (if needed). Preferred Qualifications - Color Matching. (Candidates with color matching experience will be given top priority)
Pay:
$24.00 per hour
