  • Pay•: $26-$36/hour •Terms•: 6+ month contract Our client, a highly respected organization within the scientific and laboratory services industry, is seeking an Analytical Research Chemist to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career scientist to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, GMP-regulated laboratory environment while contributing to meaningful analytical and research projects.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Analyze compounds using a variety of analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation, including chromatography methods such as HPLC and GC + Support research and laboratory initiatives by solving routine technical problems and executing assigned experiments + Interpret analytical data, prepare summaries, and maintain accurate technical documentation + Conduct electronic searches for applicable methods, procedures, and scientific references + Manage multiple assignments and priorities while ensuring timely completion of documentation and project deliverables + Perform laboratory activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) + Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards, including chemical handling, disposal procedures, and adherence to the Chemical Hygiene Plan + Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements + Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and collaborative team initiatives + Assist with training activities and support continuous improvement efforts within the laboratory •Qualifications•Required•+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field + 0-1 years of laboratory, analytical, or research experience + Academic or hands-on experience with chromatography techniques, including HPLC and/or GC instrumentation + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced laboratory environment •Preferred•+ Master's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field + Prior experience working in a cGMP or regulated laboratory environment This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career scientist looking to build hands-on analytical chemistry experience within a professional laboratory setting offering mentorship, technical growth, and long-term career potential.
